Please have your assignment published and sent by December 20th, and I look forward to grading your assignment.

Now onto the class:

For the next 3 weeks, we will be learning a few moves used in gymnastics. The 2 moves we will be working on today are:

Center Split

Learning a center split is just as essential as a front split to your gymnastics. You’ll use a center split in straddle jumps, side leaps, press to handstands, stalders, flairs on pommel horse, and scales.

Bridge

How to do a bridge -- the cornerstone of front and back walkovers, and more. A good bridge will also help you improve your shoulder flexibility, a valuable asset for any gymnast.

At the end of the 3 weeks, you will be given a test about all the things you learnt about gymnastics moves, so I suggest you take notes on draft writing paper for when you do the exam, so you are ready and prepared.
